Data Deletion Instructions

LeadYou respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our platform, including data obtained through Facebook and Instagram integrations.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to support@leadyou.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

Your name
Email address associated with your account
The specific data you want deleted (or "all data")

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Option 2: Remove Facebook Access

You can remove LeadYou's access to your Facebook data at any time:

Go to your Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
Find "LeadYou" in the list
Click "Remove"

This will immediately revoke our access to your Facebook data. Any data already stored will be deleted within 30 days.

Option 3: Account Deletion

To delete your entire LeadYou account and all associated data, contact us at support@leadyou.io. This will permanently remove:

Your user account and login credentials
All leads, contacts, and conversations
Call tracking data
Facebook and Instagram lead data
All integration configurations

What Data We Delete

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete:

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Lead form submissions received from Facebook Lead Ads
Messenger conversation data
Call tracking records
Any other data associated with your account

Data Retention After Deletion

After processing your deletion request:

Data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days
Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
We may retain data required by law or for legitimate legal purposes

Facebook Data Deletion Callback

When you remove our app from your Facebook account, Facebook sends us a deletion callback. We automatically process this request and delete all data associated with your Facebook account from our systems.
